Harry Potter Trailer and # 17 "Best Dancer" Spot!

Good afternoon everyone! Last i looked at the clock it was 12...

Hope everyone watched SYTYCD last night! The couples all did very well, and i wasn't disappointed in any of the couples! My prediction for the finale? Chelsie and Katee, and Twitch and Joshua. But that is my best guess!

So yesterday i was watching E! News and they showed the 6th Harry Potter movie preview. I'm sure everyone has discovered by now I am a very opinionated person! Every since "the old Dumbledore", dang it can't remember his name! Richard Harris? Yes, that's the one. After he died and after Chris Columbus stopped directing the movie I never really liked it as much...I felt like "the new Dumbledore" never did Dumbledore justice. He made him almost violent and evil-like to me. The Dumbledore i pictured was very similar to Ian McKellen as Gandalf in Lord of the Rings. Also, I don't feel like they follow the story line very much and change the characters. These are all my personal opinions though. Lots of people like the movies very much! 17. Donyelle

Donyelle was never really my favorite dancer during the show, but the judges loved her, and i think she inspired people. I never really enjoyed her solo's though. I didn't think they were strong and showed enough emotion of technique. When she was dancing with a partner though, she was very entertaining and fun to watch. She had a fantastic little booty too :D

# 18 Best Dancer of Season's 2 & 3!!!!

Ha, nope. I didn't forget. Aren't we on the number 18 best dancer of season 2 and 3? Quick reminder who got the number 20 and 19 spots: Anya and Musaaaaa :D

18. Martha
I think she may have been forgotten unfortunately. I however, did not forget about her! She was Travis's first partner. They were "the couple to beat" the first couple weeks of the competition. She had the longest legs ever! And incredible elevation (she can hover! *gasp) as the judges repeatedly said. I'm not sure what happened, but she lost her personality a little ways through the competition. I appreciated her style though. I think she did lovely in every dance, and had a cute personality.

Three Days 'Til Breaking Dawn :D

Trying to make our blog a bit more colorful and eventful, here is my last picture i have of one of my favorite dancers ever: Dusty Button. Yes, remember when i had that freaking out moment and all my pictures of Dusty and Alli disappeared? It was true, they were really all gone. All except the few I had saved as screen savers. Breaking Dawn, the final installment to the very famous Twilight series is coming out in 3 days (as Kelsee mentioned)! I just finished up reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (yes, my Harry Potter reading marathon is coming a long well!) and started from the middle of Eclipse just to refresh my memory. I'm so excited for Breaking Dawn, and I'm hoping theres a copy available when i hop to Barns & Noble this weekend :DD

Wow it's been a long time!

It's been a little while since anyone posted! Especially me... *shifts gaze* So here I am! lol. It's been pretty crazy around here, so it's nice that things will be settling down for a bit. Anyway...

Oh yes. So some exciting news... This Friday David Archuleta is going to be interviewed at a Radio Station in New York, and guess what?? We will get to hear his new single "Crush"!!! oh wow. Happy Pioneer Day for those who live in UT! :D

Sorry for the absence lately. Just been kinda sorda busy babysitting and such, trying to earn money :D

Also, I won't be doing a re-cap today because it is Pioneer Day (in Utah) and so we're going for breakfast, and to a parade, and fireworks, and swimming. Lo siento :D But i will say i was impressed with all the couples! No one really did awfully!

19. Musa
Musa was a sweetie. I think he deserved to go home when he did, maybe one more week would've been good. Overall, i think he tried his hardest while on the show (being a hip hop/ breaker). While Musa and Natalie were together you could lick the chemistry. Amazing. (Lick? lol.) I thought he was so good at entertaining everyone around him, and he reminded me almost of Hok and Twitch from season 4. They are all unique in what they did.

About 3 months ago or so, I made a list of the my opinion of the best dancers on seasons 2 and 3 of SYTYCD. I decided every day I am going to post my favorites starting with #20.

20. Anya
I loved her audition, and thought she was an amazing ballroom dancer. She did lovely on the show. but it bothered me how whenever she was in the bottom, the judges gave her such sympathy because "she's a ballroom dancer and can't dance with a partner while in bottom three". Meanwhile, Heidi (season 2) did a fantastic job in her solo's. Her personality seemed a little "reserved". Like she couldn't bear to be embarrassed. But i don't know. She didn't seem slutty to me, like some people claim she was.

Goodbye to Kherington and Gev on SYTYCD!

Last night on SYTYCD Gev and Kherington were voted off :( The other girl in the bottom 2 was Comfort, and the other guy was Mark. It was definitely very shocking, but all the predictable stuff has already happened for now, so i really didn't know who would be in the bottom!

I was really surprised to see that Kherington and Gev were the ones going home. Honestly I think I would have preferred Mark and Comfort going home. Best of luck to Mark and Comfort though next week!

Good job Gev and Kherington, and we will see you on tour!

Top Ten SYTYCD Season Four Performance!

Wow. Already the top ten? You better believe it! Congratulations to the top ten dancers on season 4: Kherington, Twitch, Joshua, Katee, Chelsie, Mark, Will, Jessica, Gev, and Courtney. This week the couples were switched up a bit, who would be paired with who?....

At the beginning of the show I noticed Joshua did not have a partner. Who was missing? My question was soon answered as Cat called Jessica out on the stage. She was looking very pretty wearing a black and grey stripped dress and heels. She announced she won't be able to dance on the remainder of the show because Doctors had just informed her the pain in her side was from several broken ribs. They told her she shouldn't dance for 4+ weeks. So she will be taking a break so she will be rested and able to perform on the tour. Get well soon sweetie!

So, what will be happening? I immediately hoped Shauna, Lauren, Lacey...ect. would come back to dance, but no unfortunately. Comfort (the last girl to be eliminated) will be dancing in Jessica's place. Best of luck to Comfort.

The first couple was Joshua and Courtney, performing a Hip Hop Routine to the song Skippin' by Mario. It had a fun theme and i pretty much enjoyed the dance. Something was missing though, and i think that Joshua may have out danced Courtney just a little. Understanding that hip hop is Josh's style though. One part where Courtney is supposed to do an illusion, was terrible. It looked like me trying to do an illusion. I agree with what Nigel said, she did get into character though. Good job to them! Kherington picks Mark out of the famous hat and what's there first dance? None other than the Country Two-Step...Whatever that is :D I think it's good the show has been show casing new styles lately! Ok, so to the dance. It was a little slow, boring, low-energy, rough....and not too good for me. They seemed like they forgot what was supposed to come next at some points....The judges gave them to much credit for it, in my opinion! Gev's solo was next, and it was ok. I prefer that solo he did a couple weeks ago when he was in the bottom 3. It was funny, and it was unforgettable and made me remember him. It was just ok for me. Here comes the 3rd new couple: Comfort and Twitch. I'm not terribly disappointed that Comfort is back, I love her personality and all. Hopefully she doesn't let Twitch down. And they're doing what? The Smooth Waltz. Oh my goodness. This should be interesting :D Choreographed by Hunter Johnson to the song Open Arms by Journey. It was a little stiff to me. The lines weren't quite there, but I am impressed! They did a little better than i thought they would and they nailed the lift! Good for them! But it wasn't top 10 material like Nigel said. Courtney's solo came along after a commercial. It was ok, I just am not a huge fan of her solo dancing. Her illusion was better than in her hip hop dance! Thank goodness! One of her legs were still bent, but at least it was higher! Technically her dancing is good, but something is missing...I do love her costume! It was simple. Here's the link:

Katee and Will were partnered and their first dance is a Broadway routine by Mr. Tyce Diorio. It was a really fun routine! No sexuality, and just a lot of fun! It wasn't my favorite Broadway ever, but it was great! They danced it well! I love how he squirted the water out at the end! Katee was such a cutie in this dance, Will i think could have let go and had maybe a little more fun with it. I loved the choreography with the boat. It was clever. Good job to both of them! Courtney picked Gev out of the hat and their first routine is: contemporary choreographed by Sonya. I loved it! So good, and they had a good connection! They danced it well, and I saw absolutely nothing wrong with it at all. It was so free and easy going, and the song was good for it. Oh i loved it! They did great together! Joshua and Courtney's second routine was a Rumba. It was sexy and I liked it. The did very well on the lifts, but maybe it could've had just a tad more chemistry. I liked Courtney in this routine a lot, and I think she made up for her lacking in the hip hop! According to Mary it was technically good too, why didn't it make it on the hot tomale train then? Katee's solo. OH NO SHE DID-N'T! That was Alli's song. I'm sorry, but I think NO one has the right to use that song on the show after Allison's elimination! Allison did better and the connection was better. Katee should not have done that. :( Yes, her technique was there, ect. ect., but it's nothing compared to Alli. Ok. So what's next? lol. Mark and Kherington get to dance a Jazz dance by Tyce. I love Jazz! It might not be my favorite to watch, but it's my favorite to dance! So i have a lot of respect for it! I think Kherington did a little better than Mark. A lot of people on youtube feel that Mark was better though, so really this is all just a matter of opinions. Also, youtube people commented that the choreography was a but Blah. I agree to a degree about that, but it was still fairly decent. Was it top 10 material? I don't know...Maybe top 14 or 12. Comfort and Twitch did a fantastic job at their hip hop routine that they did! It was so good! Both of them did really great and neither were helping or carrying the other! It was so good, and I loved the choreography by Dave! It was long overdue for Comfort and she deserved it so much! I'm so proud of her and thinks she deserved to dance in the top 10 with that routine! Twitch was really good as usual! One of the best hip hop's of the season! Here's the link for it:

Katee and Will up next. What will they be doin'? Something probably purty darn good. And of course it was! And who are they dancing to? none other than David Archuleta! This dance was very powerful and you needed to be strong, and a lot of passion, and ballet training, and fantastic technique! It was so good! I really liked it! They danced it flawlessly! Chelsie and Gev!! This was a pretty awesome job at the jive! It had high energy for sure, and they both did really great! I don't agree with Mary and the "too much concentration" crap. Gev did really great and they both were fantastic and you could tell them were having a good time!

Alli Is A Mommy!

So, I had heard rumors that Alli Holker was pregnant on IDF, but i thought it was nothing more than a rumor! So i ignored it. But Allison's website, AllisonHolkerFans.com confirmed it! I'm assuming her little girl was born in in late May-ish? Her name is Weslie, and yes, it is a girl! Alli is also engaged, but I have no idea who or anything about the Daddy. But congratulations to miss Allison on becoming a Mommy and best wishes to her and her little Weslie. I hope she grows up to be as a talented dancer as her Momma. And I hope to see Alli dancing again soon! I will keep updating on any new Allison news/Weslie news.

Where did my pictures go? *gasp*

Sorry about all those misspelled words in my last post. I think I'm too lazy to go back and fix them....It would just take too much energy from me.

Yesterday was lovely. I finally got to see my Paigers and we went to my Grandma's pool and went swimming. My grandma brought the rings and stuff to dive for and apparently (according to Paige) I'm like a fish because i can grab them all without coming up for a breath, and I'm a super fast swimmer. Which is weird because i hadn't gone swimming for like 1 year+ and last time my mom told me i was slow, and needed to learn how to swim again. We ate like 20 of those saltine crackers...and then my grandma made us hot dogs, which were extremely delicious! And then we went Ice Blocking. I have never done it before and it is SO much fun! When we got to bottom of the hill we decided we didn't want to carry the blocks back up, so we sat on them and pushed ourselves backwards up the hill. Which was like a major leg workout! After we reached the top Paige decides she want to do Pilate's. So we sat at the top of the hill doing sit ups, and a whole bunch of other things! It was wonderful!

So, After re-reading the 6th and 7th HP books i actually did start from one and now I am in the middle of the 4th when Paige gives me this book to read and said it was like best book she's ever read. It's called "Pretty Little Liars". So, i took a break from dear Harry (in the middle of the first task...) and started this other book. I'm about half way through, and it's pretty good! I would probably recommend it!

I finally also got my *cough* fake Tiffany necklace, that looks pretty darn real to me, and Dior earrings from Paige from when she went to New York for Ballet! They are lovely.

Grrr. I'm so mad. I was going to add a picture, but all of my Allison Holker Pictures that i have collected for forever are GONE! Where did they go?! If i have to go through and find all of them again I am going to be so mad! On my iPod, when it's like syncing the new songs and stuff it did say "deleting pictures" but i thought it was just deleting some from my iPod because i have like 2,000 pictures...but if it actually deleted them from the computer than that's ridiculous! iTunes has no right to do something like that! We will get to the bottom of this! And a lot of my Ashley Tisdale pictures are gone too dag nabit! I will keep ya'll posted on this terrible unjust happening!

Sorry, lol. This is totally what happens when i go on youtube and read peoples comments. Probably because i have a very strong opinion and i have a hard time accepting when peoples opinions differ from mine (which is something I have to work on getting over....)

I just need to learn not to read the comments. lol. I love Dusty Button, Shauna Noland, Lauren Gottlieb, Travis Wall, Jaimie Goodwin, and Alli Holker. I think they are very talented amazing people! I just feel like sometimes they do not get enough credit for what they do! Especially when people on youtube just say unnecessary things...Unless they can do better, than they shouldn't say anything! Amazing and inspirational people! I admire them so much for what they do!

Sorry, One moooore thing. lol. I was just watching Shauna's tour solo (Everything) on youtube. It gave me chills! Omg. I love that! Shauna is amazingness. whewwwww. That was incredible. Whoever says Shauna doesn't have techinique or personality is obviously seriously confused and disturbed! Shauna is SICKENING! Love her and her amazingness!

Zoombini's! :DDDDD

So, here I am at my grandma's house on her computer...that I just kinda screwed up and have NO idea how to fix! Shhh, don't tell her :D

Today is the fourth of five days at dance camp. It's been an amazing experience being able to work with the choreographers and dancers! I've learned so much, it's crazyness, but i loooove it so much and made me realize how much i do enjoy dancing!

My grandma has gone through like 3 computers and they all had old games on them that Jenna and I would play and never finished. The games are like ANCIENT though, but so brilliant and still addicting! One of my favorite games was Zoombini's. I just barely remembered about it today and had this thirst to play it! So i asked my grandma if i could play it and she told me she accidentally threw it away when she was throwing away one of the ancient computers! And I'm like waaaay sad right now :( I want to play Zoombini's! Not very many people have played it I'm sure, but it's like the BEST game ever created! With the little pizza troll guys and the frogs and lily pads.....Oh yes.

So, I'm sure i will go post crazy again once I'm done with dance camp tomorrow....lol. And will go back to posting like 4 times a day because I'm so bored....

Dance Camp :D

Sorry everyone, i haven't posted in a while! I have dance camp this week everyday from 9:30-4:00 and when i get home i don't have enough energy to do much! Dance camp has been fun, but i miss my old dance girlies: Morgan, Alyssa, Megan, Kinzi, Leah, McKenna, Courteney, and anyone else i might've forgotten. It's so different than my old studio and such a different atmosphere! At my old studio i knew everyone and everyone knew me and everything, and here i don't know anyone or how they do anything! So it's crazy! I'm SO sore right now, I haven't been this sore since the personal trainer incident last year! I can't lift my legs, my hip flexers kill, and my abs hurt a ton!

JULY 4th!!

Sorry i haven't posted in FOREVER! I have had a somewhat busy week, and just haven't had the time to post much. :)

Anyway, so i think that these past few weeks have been musical weeks. lol. On the 4th, I went to to two plays, that's right TWO plays! it was a blast though! First me, my grandma, aunt, and some cousins went to see Fiddler on the Roof. That musical is so wonderful! It has such a great meaning! I loved it! and the music is so amazing! Great story as well! Next we went to The Sound of Music. It was so superb live. I think that this has got to be one of the most beloved musicals EVER! Even though I've seen it many times, I found myself becoming drawn into it being performed live. And this story is also one that is very wonderful!

So that was part of my eventful fourth of July! Hope yours was good too!

Goodbye to Matt and Kourtni on SYTYCD!

Everyone knew atleast 2 of the couples that would be in bottom 3 couples: Matt and Kourtni, and Thayne and Comfort. And.....Everyone was right! But who would be the third? I for one had no idea! I think that spot could have belonged to anyone! All the couples seem to be loved pretty much equally! The final couple in the bottom though was Courtney and Gev! Quite shocking to me! They got some pretty good comments from the judges last night!

So the first to dance a solo was Kourtni! I liked her solo, but seemed a little like the same old thing she does every solo, but to a different song. No doubt, she is talented though! I love her long legs!

Next to dance was Matt! I love Matt! I love the way he dances and I have never seen anyone dance quite like him! It's unique and i like that! He seems like a much better solo dancer though, from what I have seen on the show.

Third was Courtney. She does some funky side leaps! A lot like Miss Lauren Gottlieb! Compared to how Jaimie and Shauna do them....I perfer how Shauna and Jaimie do them. And when Courtney did her fouttes (i have NO idea how to spell it, but the word I'm thinking of is pronounce like Fwa-Taes) and they seemed a bit stiff to me! The whole dance seemed a little stiff and like she could snap at any moment!...But still pretty good!

Fourth to dance was Gev (also taught at Jenna's studio). I have never really LOVED him. He's never really done anything to make me want to vote for him. And after watching his audition, I didn't really like his audition either. When someone says "breaker" i think of Dominic last year ( I have never seen a "breaker or b-boy do want Dom did/does so I'm always kinda disappointed!) and Gev never really did it for me. Well. Tonight, during his solo he did it! OMGGGGGGG! One of the best solo's on the show ever! So entertaining! It was one of the solo's that i rarely rewind when it's done and re-watch it another 50 times and it never gets old! That little shaking on the ground thing made me laugh and that's what I've been wanting when i say something to just EXPLODE and WOW! It was amazing! I will add the link to it as soon as people get it up on youtube!

Fifth and final girl, was Comfort! I never really enjoy her solo's. Nothing really amazes me when she does them! I believe she is a good hip hopper though, I just need her to prove it to me!

Final dancer: Thayne. Jenna loved his solo, but as usually it was just ok for me! It makes me sad because i really really want him to just do something WOWZA-ish (like Gev just did!) and just totally blow me away. I think because he's never done anything like that America just can't fall in love with his fantastic personality!


So who would be going home? Courtney was safe first. Up against Comfort and Kourtni ...Comfort was safe and Kourtni will be going home... Now who of the guys? Of course, after his amazing solo, Gev was safe! Matt and Thayne, so cute, i love them both, they've just had a rough time on the show! Matt was sent home. Thayne and Comfort, Courtney and Gev will advance on to the top 12! Goodbye to Kourtni and Matt. I will miss you on the show...

SYTYCD Top 14 Review :D

So yesterday on SYTYCD the top 14 couples performed not one, but two dances! Why? Well, we're not really sure. Usually they don't have to do this until the top 10 or later. Some of the couples definitely needed the second dance, and second chance!

Beginning with Comfort and Thayne. A new partnership since Chris and Chelsea were kicked off last week. They're first dance was a Broadway routine. I think it's unfortunate that Thayne didn't get a high energy sort of routine like Benji and Donyelle's "You Can't Stop the Beat". He would have done much better with that kind of Broadway. The new couple also did a smooth waltz. I thought thayne did very well. At some parts Comfort did the "Lacey" hand thing and i thought she didn't have very many good lines. When Jaimie did the waltz, it was not technically right, but her beautiful lines made up for it. Uhm. Part of me wants to sympathize with her because she is a hip hop dancer, but the other half says that shouldn't be an excuse anymore. People have done it before. Matt and Kourtni first did a hip hop choreographed by Cicely and Olisa. All i have to say is i miss Shayne Sparks. I have never quite been a huge fan of Cicely and Olisa's work, and I think Matt and Kourtni did fairly well. Ivan would have been amazing in this though and been able to pull it off. I agree with this person's comment on youtube: "i feel kind of bad because i feel like they get jipped in terms of choreography. like tabitha and napoleon are amazing, they're just so different. and to not get mia or at least mady for contemporary is sort of a disappointment for the dancers. they have so much potential once they get the right rountine. i love matt, i think if he had a different partner he'd be doing better" And i think the same goes for Matt and Comfort.

Twitch and Kherington, Twitchington did a Paso Doble. I think it's SO easy for couples to over act when it comes to Paso Domble and just ruin it. I thought it looked it little bit cheesy and just too much. A lot of the part's Kherington looks like she's snarling at him! Just too much for me, personally! Second, they did a Mia Michael's contemporary. AHHHHHHHH! It was amazing! I love how they are never on the bed at the same time! It was, as usual, a magnificent MIA MICHAEL'S routine. Adored it so much! They danced it well! One of my favorite dances from the whole season for sure! Jessica and Will did a Jive choreographed by Tony Merideth and Melanie LaPatin. It was ok. I have seen better (Anya and Danny). I feel bad that Jessica is always getting picked on! Second they did a Mandy Moore Lyrical Jazz. The shirt thing was very creative! I Really enjoyed this dance and they definitely danced it very well! Will just lifted and threw Jessica around and it was a great dance and some very lovely choreography! I love explosions in dances where the music just goes KAPOW! And they do something remarkable! Gev and Courtney did a hip hop dance. It was good! I quite liked it! I thought that Gev actually did it really well! I liked Gev no matter what the judges said! Courtney did really good too though! Second they did a cute little Broadway routine! They totally look like a lost little couple in new york! They're so cute together! This dance made me smile a lot! It was very enjoyable! The little jump that Gev does though, what was it exactly? It makes me giggle! Was it supposed to be like a toe touch? Or was it supposed to be like that? We'll never know. Chelsea and Mark did a Jazz routine by Mandy Moore. I'm sorry to say i didn't enjoy it too much. It was ok. Not Chelsea and Mark's faults at all! It was the choreography. That song deserves much sexier choreography! For what they were given they did well, maybe could have been a little more energy...Sorry, but i don't have much to say about it. They also did a Fox Trot. It was good but i think dearest Chelsea dress took away from it because i couldn't see her body moving or what she was doing through all the feathers! Loved her hair though :D But how was it possible for them to dance with when they go to take a breath they inhale feathers? They did it well for breathing feathers, but i wish she could have had a less bird-like dress.... They are a great couple though! Love them! Lastly, Katee and Joshua did a Mia Michaels contemporary as well. Not my favorite of hers... It was still very good, but the bed one was a little better to me and more meaningful! The difficulty of this routine was very high i think and very fast too! I think I've mentioned before that i like routines where the dancers just run across the stage! They also did West Coast Swing by the champion Benji! I love the little doggie he brought in! So cute! Sorry Benji, but unlike your wowing choreo last year with Pasha and Sara, this was a little boring. Love the hip action going on though! It was one of those dances that just says "I'm just hanging out dancing for the fun of it!" There's nothing wrong with that! But just so boring, could have been the music or the fact Benji wasn't dancing it. Uhm. The Top 14... Vote for THAYNE!!! 1-888-TEMPO-02!

So, tomorrow I will go over how the wonderful couples on SYTYCD Season 4 top 14 did.

Shauna was voted off last year at top 14. Which was a terrible loss. I love Shauna. She is and was an amazing dancer on and off the show. It's sad she wasn't able to go further than she did. She got stuck with unfortunate costumes (frumpy and dumpy) and then with a bad partner (no offence to cedric). Loves to Shauna :D I will be paying tribute to her later on :D

So today marks the first day of the American Idol Tour 2008 starting in Arizona! I just wanted to drop in and say GOOD LUCK to this years top 10, even though they will probably never see this post! haha. They will do amazing! But even though i can't go to any of the concerts, i sure hope they do a great job! Best wishes to the top 10 not just for tonight's concert but each and every one of them!!! Good Luck!

Ok. So SYTYCD season 2 was definitely the best season, followed by season 3 of course.
