Twilight the Movie reveiw :D

hey! I haven't been able to blog forever and ever because of school, dance, etc.

So, all my friends saw Twilight and loved it! I, however, was a bit reluctant to see it. The commercials I had seen looked cheesy and i don't think they picked the characters well. I didn't want a bad movie to ruin how I imagined everything in the books. After hearing all my friends saying how good it was I decided to go with my Momma and sister on Thanksgiving to see it. It wasn't terrible. I think they stayed close to the book and didn't venture from the plot, which made me happy :D The main problem that I had with it though was that they just skimmed everything. Just barely touched on every part. One second Edward and Bella are eating dinner and the next minute Edward seems to be chasing Bella into a forest? Huh? lol. No relationships were developed between the characters. I didn't feel that love and need that Bella and Edward eventually feel toward each other. What's the relationship between Jacob and Bella? What's the relationship between Jessica and Bella? What's the relationship between Bella and Rosalie and Bella and Alice? Etc, etc. Why is Edward all of the sudden playing the piano? It didn't show that Edward wrote that song for Bella. You would've had to have read the book to understand that. I haven't read the first book for a while, but i remember hearing a lot more detail on Carlisle's story. Also, there was a lot more detail on the werewolves and the vampires from Jacob and his tribe. The movie was just so....thin compared to the book (if that makes any sense?)

sorry that was a super long paragraph. I thought i should skip a line to make this look a bit shorter and more readable. The meadow. To me that was a special part, it's where i think their relationship took a leap and they began to more strongly (love my grammar?) dive into their relationship. In the movie it was portrayed a little along the scary side. Not special at all. :(

It didn't help this old fat guy sitting behind us would start laughing hysterically at EVERY little part!

I would recommend it though. If you haven't seen it, go into it with an open mind!

Congratulations to Joshua!!

     He is America's Favorite Dancer (SYTYCD) of season 4! Best of luck to all of the dancers on the tour! I will try to post some videos of the tour as videos pop up! 

     You can probably imagine how ecstatic i was when some of the dancers from past seasons appeared on the finale! Alli was there and informed all that she had had a baby girl, Weslie about two months ago! Lauren was also there, and Traaaaaavis! It was great! They did almost the same dance they did for the American Idol Finale (so i was a bit disappointed in that....I was hopin' for somethin' new!) I was also hoping maybe Shaunar could be there, but she wasn't. Lacey was though! So there's some good news! I was almost positive that Zack was in the "evil bunny dance" lol. I will post some videos of them later. Don't let me forget!

He's such a cutie. His personality could be out shined by his partners sometimes i feel. I could almost sometimes think he could've been a better gymnast. But he is fantastic!...

SYTYCD Finale Tonight! Did YOU Vote?

Heyyyyyya'll :D So (sorry i say that A LOT!), I am currently baking a cake. Hopefully i don't burn it... And hopefully it works. You see I only had 2 eggs and the recipe called for 3.....so uhmmmm. So yesh, only used two eggs. I don't think it will make to much difference, especially in the taste because according to my foods class last year in school, eggs are just a "leavening agent" or something like that....and so i don't believe leavening has anything whatsoever to do with the taste (which is all i care about!) Ooooooooh I think it's doooone! Yay! It is not burnt! Perfect. It looks like a ginormous sponge though! lol! But it's think and delicious just how i like it. A little tan around the edges and bits in the middle, but I really think I did well with it!

I just re-read what i wrote and when i said "yesh" it totally reminded me of dance camp! In our character class we learned these easy little dances from around the world and one of them you grabbed hands with a person across from you and chanted "Yesh. Yesh. Yesh, yesh yesh yesh!" lol. It was THE funniest thing ever in my life.

As promised I researched the whole etc. vs. ect. thing. Apparently I have been saying it wrong. It is not pronounced "ex-cetra". So i went along and looked up "excetra" on dictionary.com and nothing was what i wanted! So i resorted to looking up "etc." and here is what came up: Et Cetera. Who knew? lol. That would explain why it is etc. because of the "Et C" part. Here's the definintion of "Et Cetra": –adverb
and others; and so forth; and so on (used to indicate that more of the same sort or class might have been mentioned, but for brevity have been omitted): He had dogs, cats, guinea pigs, frogs, et cetera, as pets. Abbreviation: etc.
So. Here is the pronunciation key: [ek-set-er-uh], or [ek-se-truh]. I for one say it the second way. It's understandable how anyone would mistake it as a "ex" sound because "ex" and "ek" sound extremely similar! Hopefully that clears any confusion of ETC.!

Now for abbreviation. There really is no answer to this. It's just a funny coincident! We will just have to ponder of it for forever.

The SYTYCD finale is one tonight, and we will say good bye to yet another season. Season 5, wowza. lol. Make sure to watch. I bet that Joshua will win, but I think Twitch will be runner-up.

FOURTH POST OF THE DAY! Can you tell I'm bored?!


So, daily I'm switching between my obsessions: Legally Blonde: The Musical, Ashley Tisdale, So You Think You Can Dance: Alli, Lauren, Shaunar, etc. etc. (does anyone else feel etc. should really be ect.? considering you pronounce it "ex-cetra" and the "x" sounds like a "c"? wowza....how do you spell excetra? lol. Why is it so complicated? Guess that's why we just use the abbreviation...lol. It's like why is abbreviation such a long word? hmm. That's fascinating! We will have to dedicate a whole post to that tomorrow....STAY TUNED!: ect. vs. etc. and why is abbreviation such a long word?!), Clothes (when is my shirt gonna come from Hollister), Purses (When is my sexy pink purse gonna come...it was free overnight shipping. Should come tomorrow!), Dance (So excited for new dance studio!), and Harry Potter. Interesting match, eh?

Alli on SYTYCD 4 Finale?!

So excited for the season 4 finale of SYTYCD tonight....especially since i heard there is a possibility of ALLI HOLKER being there (or even better.....DANCING!) i haven't seen her dance in forever because of little Weslie! Yet another reason why you should watch the season 4 finale of SYTYCD!



This picture Jenna came across on Jaimie's Myspace. She called me down and I was like "Whoa! Is that Alli?!" And Jenna was like "No! It doesn't even look like Alli! You're just so desperate to hear of Alli you're hallucinating!" I was still very convinced it was Alli. I would know her anywhere...

Soon after I'd left the computer to continue my reading of Breaking Dawn she screamed "OhMyGosh! It IS Allison Holker!!" I charged down stairs and sure enough it was the darling Jaimie with her arm wrapped around Alli! I screamed "I knew it!" (Haha, sounding like Natalie...."I KNEW IT!") Immediately i went to AllisonHolkerFans.com to find it was true and there is a possibility of Alli and Jaimie appearing on the finale! Does Alli not look amazing for having just had a child 3ish months ago? Wow.

Cross your fingers that we see her on the finale tonight or tomorrow night! Will Travis and Ivan be there too? I hope, but doubt, that Shaunar will be there! It would be great to see all my favorites dancing together!
