Wicked!

Greetings! Sorry I haven't been posting much at all... it's been a bit busy around here! Alright anyway... something really fun happened on Tuesday! My parents and grandma and I went down to LA to see Wicked!

IT WAS AMAZING!!!

I'm not gonna lie. It just blew me away! The actors were incredible, and every minute my eyes and ears were glued to their performances! Okay I'll slow down a little. For those of you who don't know what Wicked is, it's the untold story of the Witches of Oz. AKA, the story behind the Wizard of Oz. How the Wicked Witch became wicked, how Dorothy ended up in Oz, and much, much more! And i'm kinda a musical junkie, so i had been listening to the soundtrack before i saw the show, and quite frankly, I didn't understand much of what they were singing about! But after seeing the show, it all makes sense! Lol. I LOVED the music! Each song brings something new to the story.

There was just the right amount of humor to make it fun, but serious enough that by the end of the play, you felt like you knew the characters. I really felt bad for Elphaba (the Wicked Witch, i.e. the green lady)! But the story was superb how they were able to weave this tale in with the Wizard of Oz! Dang, I haven't watched that show forever! Maybe I'll have to go find it this weekend. :) So if you EVER get the chance to go, don't pass it up, it's AMAZING!
